I'm Jana; Jim's sister.

I , along with Jim's friends and colleagues ~ Jason Spiegler and Lin Bui~ have set up this GoFundMe page to help with Jim's recent hospitalization and treatments expenses.

Financial matters are a major consideration for patients with cancer and their families. Along with the cost of treatment there is loss of revenue, existing financial obligations, and various out of pocket expenses that are not fully met by insurance. As friends and family of Jim please join us in giving to this GoFundMe to help him as he navigates his road to recovery!

NOTE: as an alternative to GFM, if you have Jim's phone number, please feel free to send him a GIFT through PAYAPAL (must designate your donation as a "gift" and not goods/services).  GoFundMe charges small transaction fees to the Fundraiser, but with PAYPAL, Jim receives the full benefit of your contribution so if you're making a large contribution, please keep this in mind.

Additionally, the "TIP" section on the GFM donation page is optional and unfortunately, does NOT offset/ assist with any fees and transaction charges associated with this fundraising effort.
