A Safe Home For Our Family

Hi, We're the Maynards and we need some help. My name is Faith and my husband's name is Kyle. In 2016 we became licensed foster parents and were matched with our sons. It was supposed to be a short placement, but we ended up adopting them a year later. Our boys both have various special needs that require extra care. Our oldest son has been significantly impacted by the instability in his formative years. In 2019 it became clear that he needed more intervention to thrive in a family setting. Our son has spent the past year in an amazing boarding school that provides holistic care for boys from hard places. He is thriving in the school and we have been cheering him on the whole way. As he nears the end of his treatment program, we are eager to have him home. We are so excited! BUT Before he can return to us, we need to make some changes to our house in the way of minor renovations and added supports. These changes will help ensure he is able have his developmental needs met in our home. We recently got news that he is due to return to us this summer, so it's time to start preparing.
