Rent And Utilities For A Homeless Trans NBPOC

Xochitz is a homeless trans NBPOC who was displaced from their career due to the pandemic (COVID-19). Xochitz is a passionate and wonderful childcare worker - they work as a nanny and babysitter - who has made a career of teaching and caring for children. Due to the pandemic, their services haven’t been utilized, rendering them homeless and without income. They have been crashing on couches to survive, but their recent stay is coming to a close and they need somewhere safe to stay and call home. This campaign is seeking 6 months of rent and utilities for a home rented by one of Xochitz’ friends, who will rent to them. If you’ve ever applied for a rental, you can imagine how difficult it is to find someone who will rent to you if you don’t currently have a stable job. This is a tumultuous time and there are many amazing causes to donate to, so we understand that you may only be able to spare a few dollars. Every single bit helps and will go to establishing a safe and stable home environment for a trans NBPOC.
