Cathy has suffered from a severe stroke and is currently being hospitalized in ICU at the U of M. She has gone through multiple exams, image testing and scans. These tests will continue to monitor her treatment and recovery options. Due to COVID our mom was furloughed from her job a couple months ago. Her insurance ran out today (June 1st) and we are in the process of working with Medicare and supplemental insurance. Unfortunately these options only cover so much Our mom is such a wonderful person and we hate to see her go through something so tragic. She has always been a giver and would do anything for her friends and family. It comes with heartache we have come to the circumstances we are in. Any donation is greatly appreciated no matter the amount. The next few months are going to be crucial for her recovery and she is required to have 24/7 care including a rehab facility. I have also been appointed her care provider and will need to take an FMLA from work to support her needs. We want to thank everyone for reaching out and sending their love.
