Beau’s road to recovery!

This is Beau. Beau is an 8 month old American Akita who had gotten away from our home in Dallas, Tx on April 25th at 9:00 o’clock at night. My Girlfriend, friends,siblings,parents and I scoured the neighborhood in search of him. I Printed out 650 flyers the next day and posted them around our entire community, we put one on every doorstep in the neighborhood as well as on every telephone pole within a 3 mile radius. We posted him on the Nextdoor App, Facebook, pawboost and joined various groups as well in search hopefully to spread the message. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any luck within the 3 days of us being in Dallas and due to finals and work we had to return back to Huntsville, Tx. We returned to Dallas the follow weekends and continued on the search still without any luck. On May 25th an ENTIRE MONTH LATER we received a tip saying he was spotted in an area surrounded by Highways and busy intersections. We cut down a 2:36 minute trip to a 2 hour one in the rain. We searched that area up and down for hours as well as heavily wooded areas with coyotes and even discovered some homeless tenements. Unfortunately we didn’t have any luck and drove back to huntsville the next morning. Today I was contacted by the shelter saying that he had been turned in! Today 5/28/2020 I was informed that his paw will require pins and plates to be inserted in order to stabilize it! The cost is going to be around 3000-5000 and I have opted in for the payment plan to save him! Anything at all helps! Please Share Beaus story!
