Warrior Blaine

I’d like to start off by saying how Blaines journey has been thus far. He went to an urgent care for a small issue, was told to head to Albany Medial Center for more testing. Lymphoma was suggested because his lymph nodes were swollen and based on blood tests they thought that’s what it was. Further testing was done.. a bone marrow sample was taken, a lymph node from his neck had a biopsy performed on it, he also had a spinal tap, as well as a port for chemo/radiation in his chest. Tests came back yesterday 5/28/20, showing he has leukemia. So today, it was confirmed that he has leukemia and it started in the bone marrow and spread through his lymphatic system, he also has a 3.5cm mass on his airway right next to his heart. As his family has taken such a huge unexpected hit, a go fund me was created for Blaine. All donations go to Blaine for anything he’ll need for the future and what’s not covered by insurance. Blaine LOVES to participate in outdoor activities, fishing, kayaking, swimming and hunting and sports activities. Indoor activities include board games, card games, video games, puzzles, things keeping him occupied while he’s having a not so good day or when he needs treatment. These activities most wouldn’t have a problem with/for but Blaine would need extra things in order to participate in them as chemo and radiation can make it difficult to live a normal life again.
