Fisher Family of 12 Loses STL Home in Fire

Donation protected
5/28 Update: The Fisher family has been shown so much love and generosity that we have exceeded the initial goal of $5,000! Thank you! Because we can’t fathom how a whole life of things could be restored for a family of twelve, we will keep going. Before they lost their home to the fire, Arah and Tony had been renting the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house in the St. Louis Dutchtown Neighborhood since April 2015. They moved in days before Arah gave birth to their now 5-year-old triplets and, just last year, welcomed a set of twins (who celebrated their 1st birthday in a hotel the day after they lost their home). With three children in the Parkway School District, one rising 1st grader at St. Frances Cabrini Academy in South St. Louis, the younger ones in daycare and with varied engagement with sports, dance and other extracurricular activities, Arah and Tony, with the help of their adult daughter, usually had a very busy household and schedule. After struggling through the premature births of their younger children, Arah, a former stylist for Nordstrom’s, found it necessary to stay home to support their family while Tony continued to work in the hotel industry. However, due to Covid19, Tony was furloughed only weeks before the fire ravaged their home. In addition to the immediate need for housing, food and clothing, our goal is to raise enough money to secure a deposit on a home that the Fisher family could purchase. Please help us reach our $50,000 goal so that Arah and Tony can, once again, build a place to call home for their family! The Fisher Family also have an AMAZON Wishlist you may donate to. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1OVCM2X09L1WI?ref_=wl_share _____________________________________________________ As seen in news today, Tony Fisher and Arah Anderson, family of 12, lost everything in a house fire (4500 block of Compton). We are asking for everyone’s support in helping them reach a level of stability. They were only able to survive by jumping, and launching the smaller infants and toddlers from a 2nd floor balcony. They are currently left with only the clothes they escaped in. Many of the children did not have socks or shoes, as the fire took place while sleeping. Please, we are asking for you’re help. This family has volunteer their time, money and physical help to many causes in the St. Louis Area. Family will need hotel/housing accommodations, food, children’s clothing, housewares and monetary donations to this go fund me. Anyway you can help is a blessing! Please follow the Fisher Family 10 Fire Restoration Facebook page for updated details. Here is more information on the family.
