Daughters Devastated By Loss of Father

Our beloved father Yared Asnake was a hardworking, kind, and honorable soul. Dedicated loving father to me Eleni Yared (19) and my little sister Sofia Yared (17). On Sunday May 25, 2020, my sister and I came home to discover our father who had passed away. This has traumatized us deeply and we are completely devastated and lost. Our father was a respected, kind, hardworking man who’s main goal was to provide for us and give us the best chance at life. He dedicated 15 years to work driving trailer trucks locally and nationwide, which meant very little time spent with family and friends. About a week ago today my father was released from his job after over a decade of dedication. He expressed to me that he has been having a long fight with depression. My name is Eleni Yared and I’m 19 years old, I’m currently enrolled in college. My father supported me and helped cover expenses. I’m also a type 1 diabetic that requires necessary medications and supplies. My sister Sofia Yared is 17 and is about to enter her senior year of high school. I worry most about her well being during this time and getting her the necessary professional therapy needed. Unfortunately my father did not set up an insurance or financial plan for us. These funds will go towards living arrangements and to help us get back on our feet during this tragic time of our life’s. Also, to be able to give my sister a college education.
