As many of you are now aware, our Sweet Leigh was sent home from the Rehabilitation facility yesterday. Her convalescence will now take place at home, in conjunction with an outpatient neuro program. The medical supplies, equipment, care staff, etc. that are required to keep her safe & progressing are adding up quite quickly, not to mention the bills that are starting to arrive for co-pays for the inpatient care that began almost 3 months ago. Christopher's position was eliminated, due to COVID-19, and of course Leigh will not be returning to work for the foreseeable future. Many have asked "What can I do?" And truly, under the circumstances, and in consideration of keeping her & the rest of the family, healthy & virus free, the options have been limited. Now that we are able to see the VERY LONG TERM plan, and the financial impacts to date, this is truly the most needed assistance, at this time. Anything that you can do is appreciated. We understand that these are not good times for many right now.
