Help My Mom Get Urgently Needed Dental Work Done

When my mother was a child she didn’t have access to proper oral hygiene products like toothpaste and toothbrushes amongst other necessities due to the poor living conditions she faced growing up. Even though she was finally able to obtain proper oral hygiene tools later on in life, it was already too late to reverse and fix the damage caused by the absence of the tools growing up by practicing simply dental hygiene. Through the years I’ve seen her struggle and fight through the unbearable dental pain she experienced almost everyday. We couldn’t afford to fix her teeth then and we still can’t now because of financial issues. Most if not all of her teeth are decaying, damaged, and are in desperate need of repair. Her lips have even started to swell badly and her teeth are sadly falling out. The money raised by donors would go into helping afford teeth extractions, temporary dentures, and other dental work that might need to be done. She is an absolutely wonderful mother and the strongest, hardworking woman I know who wants nothing more than to wish the best upon me, my family, and others. She deserves this more than anything for everything she has done so far for our family, but I am unable to provide her the money sufficient for the amount of work she needs done. It just kills me that she constantly tries to smile without her teeth showing in pictures because she is embarrassed by her teeth. She loves to laugh and smile when she’s feeling confident and the pain isn’t as strong, but I can’t help but wonder how much happier she’d be if she had no more unbearable pain to face and a new shiny white smile she’d be proud to show off and feel even more beautiful than she already is. A pesar de que finalmente pudo obtener las herramientas de higiene oral adecuadas más adelante en la vida, ya era demasiado tarde para revertir y reparar el daño causado por la ausencia de las herramientas mientras crecía fácilmente con un simple cepillado de dientes. A través de los años la he visto luchar y luchar contra el dolor dental inimaginable que tuvo que soportar casi todos los días. No podíamos darnos el lujo de arreglarle los dientes y todavía no podemos hacerlo debido a problemas financieros. La mayoría de sus dientes, si no todos, están cariados, dañados y necesitan una reparación urgente. Hasta sus labios comenzaron a hincharse mucho y sus dientes se están cayendo tristemente. Todo el dinero que es donado se va usar para pagar extracciones de dientes, dentaduras temporales y otros trabajos dentales que pueda necesitar hacer. Es una madre absolutamente maravillosa y la mujer más fuerte y trabajadora que conozco y que no quiere nada más que desear lo mejor para mí, mi familia y otros. Se lo merece más que nada por todo lo que ha hecho hasta ahora por nuestra familia, pero no puedo proporcionarle el dinero suficiente para el trabajo tan necesario de sus dientes. Simplemente me mata que ella constantemente trate de sonreír sin que sus dientes se vean en imágenes porque sus dientes la avergüenzan. Le encanta reír y sonreír cuando el dolor en sus dientes no es tan fuerte, pero no puedo evitar preguntarme cuánto más feliz sería si no tuviera más dolor insoportable que enfrentar y una nueva sonrisa blanca brillante de la que estaría orgullosa de presumir. Por favor, ayúdame a darle a mi madre la sonrisa que tanto merece.
