Dear family and friends. I am writing to inform you of the passing of Malik Marquez. On the evening of May 20th, Malik was playing basketball with close friends. Shortly after starting a game, Malik collapsed and was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors tried all they could do to save him. Although heaven gained an angel, Malik was doing what he loved most and that was playing basketball. Malik has graduated high school this year with plans of becoming a Barber. He loved his family dearly and this is as devastating as can be. To all friends and family, we are asking that you pray for the family and any donations to assist with funeral costs will be greatly appreciated by the family. Rest easy, Zig. We love you.
