Our stepmother Carly recently suffered a horrible accident. On Monday May 18th, Carly, our dad, and our stepsister were in the garage at their home and were doing a project and Carly was severely electrocuted. Luckily, Jordan screamed and caught our father’s attention and he was able to pull the source away from her and he had to begin chest compressions. Our father described the accident by “literally seeing death and a miracle.” By the grace of God, Carly came to before the rescue unit got to the house. She suffered severe burns on her hands and chest. They’re calling her the miracle lady at UNMH. She is stable and had to undergo surgery for her burns and is continuing to be observed. This traumatic and sudden event has not been easy and will continue to get harder on the road to recovery. As you know hospital stays are not easy on anyone, we would like to provide support as best as we can.
