My cat Merlin was just diagnosed with Lymphoma. I adopted him when he was 2 and now he is about to turn 7. He is relatively young to be getting cancer, and if he is treated with chemo he definitely has a fighting chance. If you know me you know my cats are the most important thing to me. Merlin is undoubtably a special cat. I knew the second i walked into the humane society and we walked up to me and slow blinked (which means “i love you” in cat language.) Since he is a very anxious cat I’ve decided not to bring him in for traditional chemo. That would entail taking him into the vet once every week for 5 months. Instead I am going to do the chemo pills route so I can treat him at home and he will be much more comfortable. Chemo pills are about half the price as traditional chemo, but still come out to be about $900 a month. If you have even a dollar to give that would help me out. Please let me keep my baby around a little longer.
