Hi everyone I am starting a fundraiser for my brother Ethan Paul Wyatt. This all started back in May he had his first ever seizure, I was at home on the couch watching Tv while my mom was in her room working when all of a sudden I heard a groaning sound and then a loud bang so I ran over to we’re I heard it and then I saw my brother laying on the floor in the hallway having a seizure so I ran and got my mom we called 911 and I ran outside and flagged down the ambulance Once he was at the hospital they ran tests but couldn’t find the cause of the seizure but they did find that he had broken two vertebrae in his back and had gotten a black eye from falling on his face in our hallway. He stayed in the hospital for a day or two and then they sent him home and gave him some anti seizure medication and pain medication they didn’t even give him a back brace or anything and once Ethan got home he was just always in a lot of pain from breaking the vertebrae in his back. But after a few weeks his back was feeling better but he wasn’t because then all of the hospital bills started coming as well as the bill for the ambulance because my brother doesn’t have any insurance so now he’s in a ton of debt so he decided he would apply for access but they denied him and he wasn’t sure what to do. Then two months later on Tuesday July 28 I was sleeping when I had suddenly got a bad feeling so I jumped out of bed rushed to where I could hear my mom because she sounded frantic and I found my brother on the ground having another seizure so we called the ambulance they came and took him to the hospital again but this time the doctors had told us that there was nothing more they could do so they discharged him me and my mom picked him up he had told us that he had the worst headache of his life once we brought him home he felt nauseous and was Throwing up So we brought him some water and told him to lie down but he just threw up all the water and then he came out to the living room sat on the couch and we told him just to take a nap and then once he got up we put on a movie we were sitting watching the movie and then all of a sudden he sat up he told us that he felt weird and then he asked us what is that and then we asked Ethan what are you talking about and then his face just went blank and he was looking all around the room like he saw some thing there and then all of a sudden the right side of his face clenched up and he started seizing so we called 911 but this time was worse because he had stopped breathing and his lips started to turn blue once the ambulance got there we had the ambulance take him to the hospital and once he finally became conscious again he called us and my mom asked him if he remembered getting picked up from the hospital or coming home and he said he had no recollection of any of that and while he was at the hospital we had him ask the doctor a bunch of questions about what it might be that was causing the seizure but all the doctor kept saying was that oh I’m just gonna switch up your medication I’m just gonna switch up your medication and then the next day on Wednesday, July 29 they discharged him again but this time my grandma went to pick him up and on the way home he had another seizure. So he’s in the hospital right now and they keep discharging him only because he doesn’t have any insurance and they’re not even trying to do tests on him and we just don’t know what to do. We need help right as he comes out of the hospital he’s gonna have so many hospital bills and we still don’t even know what’s causing the seizures we don’t know what’s wrong with him the doctors aren’t helping us because he doesn’t have any insurance so they just keep bringing him into the hospital and then discharging him. My brother is one of the nicest most hard-working people you were will ever meet he does not deserve to be treated like this just because he does not have insurance he even tried applying for access like I mentioned earlier and he was denied for it which doesn’t make any sense because he would be the perfect candidate for it. I love my brother with all of my heart and really just want to help him get better it breaks my heart seeing him like this with no hope its devastating and these last few days have been the most horrible terrifying days of our lives. If you can, please help.
