Nathaniel Kim's Trip to Germany

Hi, my name is Nathaniel Kim, currently a sophomore in high school with a love and passion for soccer.

For as long as I can remember, I have played soccer, starting by kicking the ball around with my dad, to participating on recreational and club teams, to now playing on the Strikers Academy team. By being chosen to play on the Academy for soccer, it was from there that I started to consider being able to develop my skills and talents more seriously, training rigorously to one day be a part of the best players in the world and play professionally.

For the year of 2020-2021, I was given special invitation to be a part of the TalentProjekt  program, a youth team in Germany that is a talent identification and player development program bridging the US and Germany for dedicated youth.  Offering immersion in top German youth academies and exposure to Bundesliga coaches and scouts, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to pursue my dreams of becoming a professional soccer player.

The cost of attending this program includes attending a private school in Germany, as well as housing, training for soccer, and travel expenses during this time, amounting to about a total of $30,000. While this amazing opportunity opens doors for so many possibilities for my career in soccer, I will have to raise the funds by July 2020 in order to do so. As this is not a small amount to pay, I would love your help so that I can embark on this journey to Germany to receive the training that will advance my dreams further.  Any and all support I can get is one step closer to participating in this program overseas.
