Carolyn Zastrow, age 16, suffered a stroke on Sunday May 17th. She is in St. Mary’s hospital in Rochester. Doctors tried to remove the blood clot in her brain with no success.
They tried to keep the swelling on her brain down for six days but she ended up needing surgery to remove part of her skull to make room for the swelling.
She will need to recover from the stroke, the surgery, and have physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and rehabilitation before coming home.
Donations are greatly appreciated, Thank You!
