Unexpected Loss Of Young Shawn Stauffer Jr

Donation protected
On May 16, 2020 at 6:46am, our 17 year old son, Shawn Stauffer Jr. (AKA Timmy Cain) passed away and gained his angel wings after fighting for his life for almost 24 hours. This is the most painful & hardest life-changing tragedy to happen to our family. We have lost our first born son, and our other two children, Hayden & Cora, have lost their big brother. He was so young & so full of life, to be taken from us and this world so abruptly. We know that he is at peace and no longer in pain; he is with our Lord & Savior now. He had even told me last November when he experienced a near death moment, that he felt and knew that he was going to die and he was okay with it. Knowing that, hearing that come straight from him was extremely hard, but also now has put peace in us. Shawn Jr. was a 17 year old young man, a wonderful, helpful big brother, a loving and caring son, a supportive friend, a genuinely good person, a junior in high school and enrolled in Vocational School for Diesel Mechanics & Technology. He aspired to be a diesel mechanic because he looked up to his dad, a truck driver, so very much; but he also has wanted to go into the Army since he was a young boy due to his uncle who is currently in the Army, whom he looked up to as well. He wanted to combine his love and knowledge for diesel mechanics with his need, since a child, to serve our country. He also loved football so much and always wanted to play in college and the NFL. He truly enjoyed the sport and everyone he played with and who coached him. Losing your child is something nobody is ever prepared for; so needless to say we are far from prepared for this tragic & devastating time in our lives. I, his mom, his dad & his two siblings are asking for your support and help to bring our son home. He wished to be cremated and to have a celebration of life in honor of him. We thank the Lord for the truly amazing and joyful gift of our sweet, caring, funny son, Shawn Jr., and we know that God has bigger plans for our baby boy. We now humbly and with a heavy heart ask for your heartfelt financial support in bringing him back home with us, like he wanted us to do. Anything you offer will be graciously and humbly accepted with more appreciativeness than we can ever express. We, as a family, thank you all for your love, support, prayers & generosity in our dire time of need and despair. With Love & Humble Gratitude, The Family of Shawn Stauffer Jr. Shawn Sr., Rachel, Hayden & Cora
