Hello everyone. Jon Loveless here. Well the day has finally come. On May the 2nd I was admitted to the Cleveland Clinic hospital for my Liver Transplant. The transplant was a success as if the time of this writing. Everything went well and I have now been discharged from the hospital. This is the part where I need everyone’s help. After discharge from the hospital my wife and I must remain in Cleveland for an unspecified amount of time (4-8 weeks most likely) during which I will continue to be seen regularly by the transplant doctors and they ensure that there are no complications. They will not release me to go back home to Kentucky until they are satisfied that my body is not rejecting the new liver, and my medicine has been properly regulated. This process takes a while. During this waiting period my wife and I must find and pay for housing here in Cleveland and buy food and gas and other life essentials. Unfortunately, neither of us are working now. So not only do we have additional expenses, but also reduced income. We need you guys to help if you are able and willing. We know not everyone can during these tough times and we completely understand but anything you can do to help us through this time would be greatly appreciated.
