Hello friends and family. I am starting this GoFundMe page in hopes of helping relieve some of the stress and worry of medical bills for Blake Hert.

Most of us know that early Saturday morning our tight knit communities lost three young members due to a horrible auto accident. Those lost were Morgan Ryder of Gridley, Jared Seggerman of Minonk, and Seth Unruh of Toluca. While those we lost will never be forgotten I would like to take a second to lend a helping hand to our friend Blake, the sole survivor in this terrible incident.

Blake is a 2017 graduate of Fieldcrest High School. After completing his studies in HVAC/R at Midwest Technical Institute he started his plumber apprenticeship with UA Local 99 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters in Bloomington/Normal.

Blake comes from a small group of friends. Though few there is no doubt how mighty. Blake is the type of person that would do anything and everything he could to help a friend in need. Which is why I’m asking for your help return.

In the accident Blake suffered a snapped upper humorous bone, a crushed left hand, a broken pinky, index, and middle finger, fractures to all ribs on his left side, and lacerations to his spleen and liver. With thanks to the good Lord he will make a full recovery. Until then let’s help relieve Blake of the stress and worry of some costs of his medical bills.
