Kirby's FIP Treatment (GS-441524)

Hey there guys. My name is Amber Lewis, and essentially I am creating this fundraiser for my 1 year old cat, Kirby. He has recently been diagnosed with a disease called "FIP". "Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a viral disease that occurs worldwide in wild and domestic cats. It is caused by a type of virus called a coronavirus, which tends to attack the cells of the intestinal wall. FIP manifests in a “wet” form and a “dry” form. Signs of both forms include fever that doesn’t respond to to antibiotics, anorexia, weight loss, and lethargy. In addition, the wet form of FIP is characterized by accumulation of fluid in the abdominal cavity, the chest cavity, or both. Cats with fluid in the chest exhibit labored breathing. Cats with fluid in the abdomen show progressive, nonpainful abdominal distension. In the dry form of FIP, small accumulations of inflammatory cells, or granulomas, form in various organs, and clinical signs depend on which organ is affected. If the kidneys are affected, excessive thirst and urination, vomiting and weight loss are seen; if the liver, jaundice. The eyes and the neurologic system are frequently affected, as well." (Taken from Pet WebMD) I talked to the parson who runs Venus The Two Faced Cat page on Instagram, and they enlightened me on the things I could do to help Kirby. The situation with Kirby, he's kind of in a very very late stage. The advanced stage, We didn't notice, obviously, but his right kidney is very enlarged, it's essentially failed, and there are cysts that are on his right kidney. They found fluids on his lungs and in his stomach. Both of his retinas have detached, and he is completely blind in his right eye now. We're worried that we were too late getting him to the vet because it basically happened overnight. I wanted to start the fundraiser to help Kirby get injections for a medicine called GS. Though, it is not FDA approved, there are many many stories that have proved the medicine cures the disease within 84 days. I know the price of the injections is a lot, but it goes by his weight, and it would be the whole 84 days worth of treatment. I am posting daily updates on Kirby on my tiktok account, (@buff.santa69) and thank you all so much for the love and support. Every single cent helps.
