We would like to introduce ourselves!

Hailey Davidson is the worlds first transgender woman to win a professional golf tournament along with an alternate for the 2024 US Women’s Open.

We are looking to qualify for the 2026 Grass League season and beyond. The Grass League is a gender-inclusive golf league played on lit par-3 course in Arizona,which is played in a two-person scramble format.

We are super excited to have had their applications accepted and to have the opportunity to compete against men and women in this new sports league. Our goal is to raise funds to cover flights, accommodations, food, and entry fees into the tryout tournament. 

If and when we qualify for the draft and are drafted by one of the 11 franchises, these funds will also help them kickstart their major league golf careers. This is a big deal because transgender women are currently barred from competing on the women’s professional golf tours. Gabi Ruffles, an LPGA Professional and U.S. Women’s Amateur champion, won the 2025 Grass League Championship at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills in Arizona alongside her brother, Ryan, beating many teams of two men.

Cost estimates:

- Entry fee: $1,500 (paid)

- Roundtrip flights: $600 (paid)

- Stay: $1,000 (working on paying off currently)

- Car Rental: $800 (paid)

- Food: $300

Total: $4,200

This league is genuine in its love of the game of golf; it understands that golf does not discriminate. One of their mottos is, “If you can make it, we’d love to have you.” Hailey and Benni will inspire many people simply by showing up for the tryout. Hopefully, this will help begin to break the barriers and stigmas of transgender athletes in sports. Their presence in this league is significant because it is an opportunity to put their games on full display, show their passion for the game,  and for the public to understand how they play golf relative to cis-men and cis-women.

The presence of us in the Grass League will bring light and facts to the golf world. Their participation in this league is historic and comes at a critical time. These women look forward to representing the LGBTQ+ community and thank you for your supp
