Hey, my name is Nicole or some of you may know me by my IG handle babycakes_14285!

I am beyond excited to finally share that I have officially accepted my national team invite and will be representing Canada at the 2026 World Bench Press Championships in Warsaw Poland at the end of May.

It is a huge privilege and honour to be able to represent my country at worlds and this is something I have been working towards for years. People along the way told me I was being unrealistic and dreaming too big but I never gave up and here we are as an M1 42 year old being given the opportunity of a lifetime.

I have spent countless hours training, working with coaches, nutritionists, and RMT's to get to where I am today. The sport is by no means cheap, but it is worth every penny I have invested in myself to get to where I am today.

Unfortunately there is no funding or sponsorship available for my sport, and in order to compete and represent Canada at this level there are many additional costs, including meet fee's, team Canada coaching fee's, flights, hotel, official team kits and tracksuits that must be worn while on the platform and in the venue. It all adds up and is quite expensive which is why I have started this GoFundMe.

I'm reaching out to my network of amazing people and my community in hopes that you can all help make this dream happen for me.

Any donation big or small helps get me one step closer to Poland for 2026 Bench Worlds. I want to show other lifters and athletes out there that it's never too late, as long as you put in the work, stay consistent, and keep your goal in mind one day you will achieve that goal.
