For 20 years, this community has stood by JH. You’ve helped buy specialized beds, high-tech bandages, and critical medical supplies. Because of you, JH is now 23 years old and continues to be an inspiration to everyone who knows his story.
The 2026 "Rescue Mission"
This year, the stakes have changed. After 25 years of service at NYU, JH's mom, Faye, is starting a new chapter as a Teacher’s Assistant. While she waits for her new benefits to kick in, the family is facing a massive $3,000 monthly COBRA premium just to keep JH’s specialized care active.
JH has recently decided to focus on peace and comfort at home. Gene’s goal is to make sure financial stress isn’t part of that equation. We are plunging to bridge that insurance gap and keep JH comfortable, supported, and surrounded by love.
