Help Ken Kotyk Train for the 2026 Olympic Bobsleigh Team
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ken Kotyk, and I’m chasing a dream that has defined much of my life—representing Canada once again on the world’s biggest stage: the Olympics.
I’ve had the honour of competing for Canada internationally in the sport of 4-man bobsleigh, racing across tracks in Germany, Sweden, Italy, the U.S., and Canada. As a proud Olympian who placed 4th at the 2006 Torino Winter Games, I know the level of sacrifice, commitment, and excellence required to wear the maple leaf.
Career Highlights
• 12 World Cup medals and 2 World Championship medals (Bronze in 2005, Silver in 2007)
• Olympian – 2006 Winter Games (Torino)
• 1st place finishes in Konigssee, St. Moritz, Cortina, and Calgary
• Held the Canadian Bobsleigh Start Record at Canada Olympic Park for 8 consecutive years—still unbroken
• Secured sponsorships from Visa, Dow Chemical, Adidas, Monsanto, and HBC
Now, nearly two decades after my first Olympic run, and the father of two beautiful teenage girls, I’m pushing for one more shot —training for the 2026 Olympic Bobsleigh Team. This isn’t just about a comeback; it’s about showing what relentless passion, resilience, and Canadian grit can accomplish.
Why I Need Your Support
Elite sport comes with elite costs—training, travel, equipment, coaching, and recovery—and funding is limited for athletes making their way back into the system. Your donation will go directly toward:
• Ice house and on-track training and fees
• Coaching and strength & conditioning support
• Sport science, physiotherapy, and nutrition
• Equipment upgrades
• Enhanced food, nutrition, and supplement support
How You Can Help
Whether it’s $20, $50, or more, every contribution brings me one stride closer to standing on that Olympic start block once again. If you can’t donate, you can still help by sharing this campaign with friends, family, and fellow Canadians who believe in second chances—and the power of sport to inspire.
Let’s show the world that Canada backs its athletes, no matter the odds. Help me finish what I started—and do it all for the red and white.
Thank you for believing in me. See you at the finish line.
