Tax deductible donations will go to individuals and families impacted, and to the nonprofit organizations who are responding on the ground. Every dollar will go directly to the communities in need. Current Need

March 20, 2026 - The Hawaiʻi islands are facing the worst flooding they have seen in 20 years. Families have been displaces, homes damaged, and access to basic necessities disrupted across impacted communities. Heavy rains have overwhelmed infrastructure, leaving many residents without safe shelter, reliable transportation, or essential supplies. The situation remains urgent, with more than 5,500 residents ordered to evacuate, hundreds of rescues already taken place, and local responders working to assess an estimated $1B in damages.

GoFundMe has generously donated $100,000 for the Hawaiʻi flood response so that grants can be issued quickly to verified folks impacted and empower them to access their personal needs to recover.

Who we help

We deliver cash grants directly to those impacted by domestic floods. We grant to verified individuals who qualify and are fundraising for themselves or on behalf of someone else. We may also provide grants to fundraisers benefiting small businesses and community relief efforts, and to vetted nonprofits coordinating long-term recovery.
