Hi, my name is Rosina Allen, STEM Science teacher and avid camper. My goal is to bring STEM and Camping to YOUTH of all backgrounds. I want youth to gain a love of camping while incorporating scientific and engineering skills into the experience. This is our 2nd season, along with our sponsor AARVC, and the theme is Field Day. Campers will do a morning of field day activities and then an afternoon of STEM learning activities. We will need flashlights, microscopes, rope, food for campers-4 meals and support supplies, hygiene stations and support materials, portable toilet facilities, tents, fishing poles, sleeping bags, bug spray, sunscreen, water, sun visors/hats, team Tshirt’s, six 10 by 10/ or 12 ft tents, six 6 ft work foldable tables, foldable chairs, leaf identification kit, animal foot print kit, water filtration kit, and other support materials to make this camping experience memorable for the kids.
