Hey ya'll I really really didn't want to have to do this again this year. But taxes are absolutely kicking our ass. We owe just over $11,000.

2025 was a very bad year for us. We took a friend in need of a place to stay into our home and to put it simply it did not work out. This person wound up being a very poor housemate, a drain on our resources and mental health. It cost us a lot of time and money as they were exceptionally dependent on us and only very sporadically paying rent.

One of our housemates also lost his job for about 5 months, so Rada and I were not only working extra hard to help pay for a household of 4, but any money that was being set aside for our taxes wound up being used to help cover mortgage and bills.

So that brings us to now. We technically have the money to pay the over 10K that we owe. But it would leave us with almost zero in our bank accounts, and unable to pay next months mortgage, bills, etc.

I really really hate asking again, especially after you were all so kind and generous last year. But if you feel like helping, any amount at all to put towards it would be greatly appreciated.
