On Saturday, October 4th 2025, Race Roster is hosting the 2025 UniversalCare Strides for Seniors event to support CIBPA PLACE, York Region's first Residential Respite Dementia Care Centre! Us few students at Villanova College have come together to form a team The Forget-Me-Not Knights to raise money for this charity.
Our goal here at Villanova is to spread awareness of illnesses like dementia in seniors and how it can affect families and others. Supporting the universal care senior homes through participation and donations goes to a very long way in achieving this goal!
All donations will go directly towards funding the purchase, renovation and maintenance of CIBPA PLACE. This unique residential setting will offer individuals living with dementia and other related diseases the opportunity to be cared for a short period of time. CIBPA PLACE will help provide vital support, companionship, and resources to enhance the lives of seniors and their families in our community.
