2025 San Antonio Flood: Rudy Garza
Donation protected
In loving memory of Rudy Garza
One of the thirteen lives lost to the tragic flood on June 12, 2025 in San Antonio.
A loving Husband, Father, Son, Uncle, Brother in law and Friend that will truly be missed. Rudy was a person that will put you before himself and just willing to help anyone that needs it.
Leaving behind his Wife, Children, Grandchildren, and a ton of family and friends. Rudy worked for SpawGlass where work wasn’t work because he enjoyed it so much. Coming home with stories of all the big machines he would work on, places he would travel to, and new friends he would meet.
Rudy enjoyed being with family, fishing, and cooking. The man of many hats will be missed in the house. Taking care of everything and anyone just kept a smile on his face. Telling us how he took a little longer to get home because someone had a flat and he couldn’t just pass them up.
Married for 40 years, together for 8 on top of that to his Wife Sylvia Garza. Although heart broken we are grateful he was able to spend his last moments on a phone call to his wife and getting to say their I love yous.
We appreciate any donation to help with funeral cost and unplanned financial burdens.
