2025 MEDICAL BILLS FOR BRIAN SCOLARO'S MONTHLY MS INFUSIONS

My name is Brian Scolaro. I have MS. And I am very healthy as the medicine works wonders. It has slowed the progression down. I just have to stay on the medicine. It's a monthly infusion. I have insurance. I work all the time. But it's like 2 to 3 grand a month after insurance and I know I will need help with at least half of it. Please read the below for any questions and for details. I absolutely hate asking for help! But I have to! Please help if you can!

1. I had an optic neuritis attack in 2017

2. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 6 months later

3. You only have a 14 day period to start steroid treatment to save your optic nerve cells from dying. ( I was 6 months too late due to being misdiagnosed those first 6 months.

4. I was put on the best and most expensive treatment (tysabri) to slow down the progress of MS thus keeping me from losing my other eye.

5. Before insurance it is 58 grand a month.

6. After insurance it is 2 to 3 grand a month.

7. There are also other charges like MRI's, blood tests, multiple doctors, overages, co-pays, and deductibles.

8. The fact that I am asking for help is in no way due to my income or job. I make enough to pay my rent, bills, credit card debt, bank loans, and at least half of the medical bills.

9, Think of it this way. If you have surgery there is always a couple grand due after insurance. Now imagine a surgery a month. That's what it's like,

10. I can afford most of these medical bills by myself. But sometimes I need help if the bill is larger than usual.

11. I am only asking for less than half of what I have asked in the past since I can afford half of this by myself.

12 Every cent will only go to my MS medical bills.
