Hello everyone,
In a few months, I’ll be running the London Marathon to raise some money for Rhino Ark!
As you probably know, I’m a conservation enthusiast—thanks to my upbringing in the bush and my parents’ antics, I have grown up around some interesting creatures. So, it’s no surprise that I’ve decided to support Rhino Ark’s amazing work!
They lead incredible conservation projects across Kenya, protecting endangered species (rhinos, elephants, bongo) and uplifting local communities. From Kakamega to the Aberdares and Mount Kenya - right near where I live - their impact is truly inspiring and visible! It’s easy to overlook the immense dedication behind making these places so special, so I’m excited to do my part and give back.
Here are just a few of their incredible achievements:
- Protected 85,000 households from human-wildlife conflicts, transforming lives and communities for the better.
- 178 schools that support conservation education, empowering the next generation of environmental leaders.
- Protect 15 threatened species in a targeted-manner on an ongoing basis - from majestic mammals to rare birds.
- Spearheaded 6 Forest rehabilitation projects to breathe new life into crucial ecosystems.
- Conserved 570,000 hectares of protected areas and essential water catchments, ensuring healthier environments for everyone.
