The Juneau Christmas Dinner Box Project is back in action to continue their efforts in memory of Rachael MacLeod. We are expecting to supply about 360 families again for this year’s Project and would love for you to be a part of its effort.

The Women of the Moose, Juneau Chapter 439 have jumped in again to help our fabulous volunteers fundraise and coordinate the delivery of the food. The Juneau Douglas High School Interact Club supply the hands-on labor needed to pack these Christmas dinner boxes and get the job done. Our local Salvation Army will again be managing the distribution of these boxes and will be handing them out to families in mid-December, so we need to act fast to make this happen.

A special thank you to the amazing monetary support of our local businesses, and the generous people of Juneau, and a big thank you to Super Bear & Foodland IGA for their gracious ongoing discount of food that makes this project a reality.

We ask you to please consider a monetary donation to help us meet our goal of these rising food costs of over $18,000 that we will need in order to purchase the food items for the 360 boxes that will go out to our Juneau families. For every $50 donated, we will be able to secure a full Christmas Dinner for a family that would not otherwise be able to afford one.
