2025 Cycle for Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans

Welcome to our 2025 Cycle for Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans fundraiser. We are a Canadian, U.S., and Guatemalan registered nonprofit based in Guatemala, where we offer education sponsorships, English language classes, technical skills programming, and food assistance to students and their families living in poverty in the traditional Mayan community of San Antonio Aguas Calientes, located near the city of Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans program was founded in 2014 by Vicki Horsfield, Executive Director, from Canada and William Garcia, Assistant Director from Guatemala.

The positive impacts of our organization have resulted in regular requests from students and families to participate in our programs. Limited by space and outside support, we are looking for creative ways to expand our support and programs. YOU CAN HELP BY SUPPORTING OUR FOURTH ANNUAL CYCLING FUNDRAISER to be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Muskoka, Ontario, with parallel events this year in Montreal, Victoria BC, Niagara Region Ontario, and Guatemala.
