It is a BJMA tradition that when someone grades to third degree and earns the title of Sensei - their students purchase and present them with a gold Bushido cross and their red Sensei gi.

Today - Adam Usher passed his grading check and was given the final approval to grade at Senjo for Sensei status.

Even if you don’t do Zen Do Kai and are not one of his students - let me assure you, all of the current CMA teacher's have been taught or mentored by Adam over the years and we all pass down his knowledge. He’s been a member of the club since 2000 and will also grade to black singlet this year in Muay Thai. And who doesn’t like a good Captain Buttclench warm up!?

He is part of the fabric of CMA.

So, we are asking for donations to say thank you and to show how much he is valued.

It really doesn't matter if it's $1 or $50.

We mean that!

Any gold coin you give will be melded into the gold cross that will go around his neck as a gift from all of us. We want to show him that he is loved and respected by all the CMA students.

Please remain anonymous if you would like.

We sincerely appreciate any donations you can give. And so will he, it means a lot to know people care about you.
