2025 Camps International Peru Expedition

Hello, my name is Wren Colledge, a year 12 student who has been given the opportunity of a lifetime to go and help tackle poverty, improve sustainability and make a meaningful difference in less fortunate areas, such as Peru.

In regards to this expedition, I will be travelling to South America along side my classmate Aroa, as well as other students who share our ambition. We are both raising money in order to help rebuild communities in need and supporting people less fortunate than ourselves. During our month long trip, we will be taking part in activities such as inspiring project work, as well as learning about traditional local life and getting stuck into construction work. Finally, we hope to embark on the famous hike up Machu Picchu.

In order for me to immerse myself in this experience, I have to raise £1,000 through various different fundraising events. I know that with the massive support system of family and friends I have, I can reach this goal! On the 5th July, I will be taking on the South Downs Challenge, a 14 mile hike across the Seven Sisters coastal path to raise funds for my expedition !

On this trip, I hope to gain important life skills such as communication, teamwork and resilience, all while making a lasting change in areas that may be struggling. I greatly appreciate all donations, no matter the size! Every single one makes a massive difference.
