Hey folks! Thank you for scoping out my fundraiser!
I’m Michael Ridge and have become known for my nomadic life on horseback and Wintercamping in a Tipi for 11 years!
I’m creating this fundraiser in the hopes of upgrading my winter shelter to a Mongolian Ger better known as a YURT.
My journey through the years has gained a lot of traction, respect and A LOT of interest!
2024 has been a less than nomadic year for us due to my mule sustaining an injury early spring.
With all this free time I’m making plans and arrangements to make my journey, knowledge and skills available to more people!
For many years it’s just been me and my critters but I feel ready to take on the more challenging logistics of including others in the form of events!
Yurts are definitely an upgrade from a tipi for winter camping. Especially when including folks who are not used to raw winter conditions of exposed camping in sub zero temps fully exposed in blizzards. Tee hee
I have found a great Yurt for the price of $6,500 not including fuel and transportation to go get it!

Creating a gofundme for this is not my preference and I’ve been stewing on it for a while.
