2024 Taekwondo National Championships

Hey everyone! My name is Thomas Mencl, and I am 16 years old. I started Taekwondo when I was 7 years old, and I immediately leaned to the competitive side of the sport. I started competing in provincial tournaments when I was 9 and worked hard to keep improving. Eventually, I won multiple provincial tournaments, and it only made me love the sport more. Then I decided I wanted to challenge myself by competing in Canadian Nationals. Now, I’ve competed in two national tournaments and won two silver medals. My biggest achievement so far is winning a gold medal in Canada Open against international fighters. This year’s National tournament is in Winnipeg and with your support, I will win the gold medal!
