Hey Everyone!

First off thank you for taking the time to view and read over why I am fundraising money. Early last year I was in a season (still am) of having a heavy desire and hunger to know the Lord more and grow deeper in His word and ultimately become more like Jesus. I started attending a new church, The Garage Church, where I've been able to grow further in my walk with the Lord. This community of other Christians, just as hungry for the Lord, has helped me dive deeper and further my knowledge in the bible, increase my prayer life and helped me truly understand the importance of community which through all of that has led me to discover the gifts and talents the Lord has called upon my life.

Almost a year in at The Garage Church I have been presented with the opportunity to go on a Mission Trip to Cape Town, South Africa in June. Not only is this an opportunity to broaden my horizon, but it is an opportunity for me to view the world from a different lens. This mission trip will be a 14 day trip jam packed with opportunities to serve, pray for others, spread the gospel, grow and connect even deeper with the Lord. While there our main goal is to serve, just like Jesus did. We will be visiting various towns that are in poverty, families that have very little, various orphanages, high maximum prison, local churches and more. Over the last 6 months I have prayed for the Lord to use me and stretch me out of my comfort zone and He has done just that in all areas of my life, and I believe this is just another space the Lord is using to cultivate me further.

For me to be able to experience this I must raise a total of $3,500 by the end of March. This amount will cover my flight, stay and food but also will be the means to provide for those in need in South Africa while I am there. Any amount donated, along with prayers, would be greatly appreciated! Thank you to those in advance who feel led to give.

I am excited and expectant to see the Lord move in me, and others, while on this trip. Praying and hopeful that this will be something that comes home with me to further transform me to becoming more like Jesus.
