2024 Ronan Clarke 5K and 10K Walk and Run

We are delighted to welcome everyone back to Killala to partake in the 10th annual Ronan Clarke 5K/10K Run/Walk for 2024.

This event has raised over €50'000 for Mayo Roscommon Hospice over the last 9 years..

The run was set up to commemorate our club mate and friend Ronan Clarke who passed away in 2014. The run has grown in popularity yearly and is always a high point in the community calendar. Every year it is an opportunity for young and old to come together to have fun, raise funds for a good cause and to remember Ronan. We also encourage anyone unable to make it to Killala on the day to get out for your own walk and to send on a picture to our social media channels and to make a donation to the event.

This years event will take place on Sunday 21st July 2024 with registration commencing at 10:30am and the race commencing at 12pm from Killala Community centre. This year, 2024 Mayo Person of the Year Rita Casey will be in attendance as our guest of honour.

All donations will be greatly appreciated with proceeds going towards the Mayo Roscommon Hospice and the Killala GAA Benevolent fund.
