Roccos Recovery

This is Rocco. Our loving boy went into emerge and hasn't made it home yet. He went in with a bladder that he couldn't empty and the crystals that are causing this blockage will need surgery to remove. Bloodwork told us his kidney levels were dangerously high and he needs to be on IV fluids. Now Rocco and our family are praying for your help to bring him home.

**UPDATE: Rocco is happy at home but without surgery we are in-between a rock and a hard place. After his overnight emergency visit, we were given instructions on how to give him his medication and told he will be on a special diet now for the rest of his life.

The crystals found in his bladder need to be removed. After his bladder being stretched out so much his nerves have "given up" and his leaking is because he does not know his bladder is even full. We visited our family vet and he showed us how to help Rocco empty his bladder to prevent further damage and over stretching again. Every movement is like turning a snow globe and the more he moves his bladder a certain way the more chance there is in blocking his flow with these crystals.

Choosing to go through our vet over emerge has lessened the surgery bill but we did not take into consideration diapers, his new diets cost, and of course the medication. This does not include the loan we had to take to make the overnight stay happen. Though we set gofundme to 5000 this is looking more like 7k+ with surgery, the loan, and costs we haven't taken into consideration.
