North Hunterdon-Voorhees High School Ice Hockey

Earlier this year, the North Hunterdon - Voorhees School Board approved ice hockey as a varsity sport at the two schools beginning with the 2023-2024 season. The vote was the culmination of a multi-year effort to bring co-ed ice hockey to the two high schools.

But now we need your help. As part of the agreement with the schools, the North Hunterdon Voorhees Hockey Corporation, a parent-run non-profit formed to advocate for the team, has committed to raising $25,000 per year for the next four years to help fund the program.

The money raised will go to purchase the ice time for practices and games. The school board has made it clear the team will not happen without this contribution. We are working hard to get this done, but WE NEED HELP.

So we are asking for donations. Any little bit helps. Our organization is a 501 (c) (3) so your donation is tax-deductible and eligible for a corporate match if your company provides one.

The joint district is home to more than 100 ice hockey players, who have the dream of representing their high school on the ice. Please help us make this a reality.
