2023 York County Intermediate All Stars

Hello, My name is Coach Pop. I'm one of the coaches for the 2023 York County Little League Intermediate All Stars. This team won the District 7 Intermediate Championship on June 20, 2023 and are going to the Virginia State Little League Championship in Arlington, VA in early July. We need your help to fund the travel and hotel costs for these magnificent, hard-working, very deserving boys.

Their journey began following the 2023 Spring season. Each boy was selected by their teamates and coaches to become All Stars representing all of York County's Intermediate level teams. They are the best of the best at their level of play. Beginning on the 1st of June they practiced every day except Sundays until the first game on June 16th. That practice was organized, disciplined, and grueling building the baseball skills, mental toughness, and physical stamina to compete at the next level. Compete they did - winning all three of their District games sending them to the Virginia Championships.

These All Star players are dedicated to improvement AND winning - doing it the right way with respect towards their parents and coaches, diligence towards their craft, and unwavering support to each other. Their coaches insist that these values be practiced on and off the field. It shows in the way they speak to each other, the excitement of being together, and the hard work during practice.

These boys deserve to go to the next championship with your good will and financial support. Your help will ensure that they will be transported, lodged, fed, and otherwise taken care of for the five day championship event cycle in Arlington, VA. Your help is needed and the return to our greater community will be immeasurable.
