Welcome, all!
If you’ve found yourself on our page, we are grateful that you’re taking the time to get to know us and hear our story.
We are two robotics teams from Racine, Wisconsin and we all attend Wisconsin Lutheran School in downtown Racine. We have been working hard this year to build and program robots for competition using the VEX IQ program. On March 12th, we took our robots to the State tournament in Green Bay and earned an opportunity to advance to the World Robotics Championship in Dallas, Texas! We are very humbled and grateful for this opportunity to compete at a higher level with kids from around the world. We are now seeking funding to help pay our entrance fees into the competition and to help with travel and lodging during the days of the competition. Read on!
Hello! We are team 53403C Many Incredibly Happy Nerds. As Fifth graders, we are newer to the robotics program and are thrilled that we have become the first elementary team at our school to earn a spot at the World Competition. We are excited at the thought of competing with other kids from across the country and across the world. Thanks for joining us on this crazy ride!

Hey there—we are team 53403B, Sq. Rt [-1], Robot. For any of you out there who enjoy math equations and movies, see if you can find our real team name by solving the puzzle embedded in our team name. We are four eighth grade students who have been competing in robotics for the last three years. We are excited that our last year of grade school robotics has culminated in winning two awards at the State competition, earning us a spot at the World Championship. We are fired up at the prospect of this opportunity!
Thanks for your consideration.

Unlike other extracurricular teams at school that have “seasons”, our robotics teams work steadily over the course of the entire year learning, building, programming, and adjusting our robots to get ready for competition. It can be frustrating at times when something doesn’t work. There is lots of trial and error involved. We’ve even had to scrap our robots and start over at times. Our parents say this builds resiliency and sharpens our problem solving skills, but mostly we just say that it’s fun to build, program, and drive the robots!
We are asking firstly that you would support us with your prayers and words of encouragement as we work this next month towards our goal of getting to Dallas for the championship. Secondly, if you are so moved, we’d be grateful for any monetary donations which would help us with enrollment fees and travel to Dallas.
Throughout the season, we’ve focused on building strong robots, sharpening teamwork skills, and using all of our abilities to God’s glory. We will continue to work on all these things this coming month as we prepare for our biggest challenge.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for supporting us along the way!
