2023 TBR Podcast Fundraiser

Hi all, Charles Woods here, creator and host of The Big Rhetorical Podcast. When I started The Big Rhetorical Podcast, the goal was to expand the field via an emergent digital genre through conversations with graduate students. Over time, motivations and values have changed, but the goal of The Big Rhetorical Podcast remains the same: to create opportunities for graduate students. In pursuit of that goal, each year TBR Podcast selects a TBR Podcast Emerging Scholar Award winner and a TBR Fellow. The TBR Emerging Scholar Award comes with a financial prize and the TBR Fellowship is a paid opportunity to gain practical experience working on a digital project in the field (this podcast) and to connect with other leading scholars through interviews. This year, TBR podcast expanded to work with undergraduate students through community partnerships and internships, too. We are excited to continue to award the TBR Podcast Emerging Scholar Award and TBR Podcast Fellowship annually. But, we need your help to continue to do this work. Each Spring, we run a fundraiser to raise money to fund these opportunities. It is that time of year, again, and we need your help!
