2023 SWN Global 5K Fundraiser - STOP THE TRAFFIK

Seyfarth Women’s Network’s annual Global 5K will be taking place this year during the weekend of May 19-21, 2023! Once again, the SWN, in partnership with the Pro Bono & Philanthropy Department, will be coordinating this global event in support of STOP THE TRAFFIK, a nonprofit that aims to bring an end to human trafficking worldwide. STT works to unite people around the world by inspiring, informing, equipping, and mobilizing communities to know what human trafficking is, how to identify it, and how to respond appropriately if they see it.

If you would like to learn more about this issue ahead of the 5K, we encourage you to watch this short and moving film directed by STT’s Group Content Creator about four women from a small village in India who were victims of human trafficking and how they battled against and overcame it. We also encourage you to download the STOP APP, which is a tool that enables people across the world to join the fight against human trafficking by reporting suspicious activity that they observe.
