2023 Seattle Majestics Travel Fundraiser
We are the Seattle Majestics, an 11-vs-11 fully uniformed professional women's football team. Each season our 45-player roster will travel to three away games in west coast cities ranging from Portland, OR to Denver, CO. Our players often cover their portion of travel expenses out of their own pocket. As such, we often wind up with lower roster numbers on the road. We want to eliminate this expense for our players so that the entire team can travel together. The $16,000 would be used to cover that expense.

OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE AND PROMOTE THE AWARENESS OF AND GROWTH IN OPPORTUNITY FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS TO PLAY ELITE TACKLE FOOTBALL. OUR VISION IS TO BE THE GOLD STANDARD FOR WOMEN'S FOOTBALL BOTH ON AND OFF THE FIELD BY EMPOWERING WOMEN THROUGH LIFELONG LEARNING, CONFIDENCE, PERSEVERANCE, DISCIPLINE, SPORTSMANSHIP AND TEAMWORK. About Us
We are Seattle’s premier women’s tackle football team. With 19 seasons of play under our belt, we have consistently delivered excellent results for our fans.
We were established in 2002 as the Tacoma Majestics. The team went 24-2 in our first three years of existence, making it as far as the Western Conference Championship game in 2005. In 2006, the Tacoma Majestics merged with the Seattle Warbirds, officially relocated the team to Seattle, and became the Seattle Majestics.
From 2006 to 2011, we held an impressive record of 49-15, including six division titles, one conference championship, and one national championship. In 2012, new ownership group came in and established a new look that aligned our organization with other professional teams in the Greater Seattle area.
As of September 2014, we underwent a structural change and officially became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Under this new structure, we hope to establish a viable organization through the help of donors and sponsors alike. Being a 501(c)3 non-profit organization allows us to raise funds easier and to attract the best talent women’s football has to offer. We play in the Women's National Football Conference (WNFC) and are among the top teams in the nation. Our players are deeply committed to their sport, with regular practices starting in January and in-season play running from April through July.
As part of the Seattle Majestics organization, players spend countless hours in practice, playing games, studying film, and donating time to their community. Our organization makes appearances at local schools and Boys & Girls Clubs to promote athletics for women and girls; donates time to organizations like the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and Make-A-Wish to name a few; and gives back in many other ways that empower young girls.
