Support an Orphans Education in Yei, South Sudan

With a humble heart we, the Kikiji National Orphanage Center of South Sudan (KNOC-SS), are requesting your generous donation to support an orphan child's education in south Sudan. Today, this young innocent boy called Joel Alafi was brought to our office by a concerned person who has been seeing Alafi suffering; with tears in his eyes at times when seeing other children going to school and causing him to refuse to eat food at times. Joel Alafi is one of many children in South Sudan who need our help. With your support, we can send a child to school with just 15,000SSP ($20).

Who is Joel Alafi?

Alafi is 12 years old boy who lost both of his parents. His father died before he was born and his mother died when he was six (6) months old. He is the only child of his parents. Alafi was raised by his grandmother who is now very old.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, Alafi has never attended school. He said whenever he asks his uncles to help him go to school like other children, his uncles tell him " HE CAN'T HELP A CHILD WHO IS NOT FROM HIS STOMACH." Alafi is not alone. Many children are going through such painful silent moments in life because they cannot provide for themselves. Kikiji National Orphanage Center of South Sudan's mission is to help children like Joel Alafi. We are the voice of the orphaned children.

Due to limited resources, we were able to respond by giving him books, pencils, and a school uniform and he is now registered in school and ready to start attending class for the first in his life. There are many children like Alafi who need our help. Your generosity can help these children get back on their feet and provide them with the support they need to grow and thrive.
