To serve and inspire the community by bringing people together through movement and dance. Our intentions are to heal and spark the emergence of each individual’s full potential through performance, collaboration, and education.
We are thrilled about our 2023 season and beyond. And we are happy to announce we have officially become a non-profit. Any donation we receive is tax deductible. We are raising funds for our next production, Oasis: A Fresh Summer Series. This show will premiere on June 3rd and 4th at ME Theatre. We have many expenses and would appreciate any donation. Some of our expenses include theatre rental, costumes, insurance, artist and choreographer fee, tech personnel, and more.
Show description of Oasis is below:
Oasis serves as a reflection of our experiences in life and the freedom dance brings. The various works are sure to take you on a heartfelt journey and create insightful reflection. Emergence Dance will engage the community by connecting the dancers and audience through dance and storytelling. We want to create dialog and take people on a journey when they watch this performance. Emergence Dance will produce a collaborative show incorporating several styles of dance and local choreographers including contemporary, ballet, modern, jazz, and more. The performance will be completed with a Q and A for audience members to engage with the choreographers and dancers to learn about the creative process of story building.
The choreographers will include Cindy Heen, Anneke Belman, and Herman Ramos.
No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or promotions are offered in exchange for any donations made to our GoFundMe.
