The Kastner Cup is an annual race organized by the Friends of Triumph. We are a "club that's not a club" - we exist only to keep the passion of vintage Triumph race cars alive and our membership consists exclusively of people that either race or contribute to the effort of racing these iconic sports cars from the past. The Kastner Cup was named in recognition of the career accomplishment and legacy of R.W. “Kas” Kastner, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at 92. Kas Kastner was one of the most influential individuals responsible for the racing success of Triumph sports cars from the late 1950s through 1970 and beyond. We are honored to continue to race for Kas at a different venue around the United States every year.

In 2023, the Kastner Cup will be held at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI as part of the Weathertech International Challenge from July 14-16. Since the Friends of Triumph is a club with no dues, there are no established treasury or revenue streams to fund the events. We are 100% reliant upon donations from the Triumph community to organize and execute the awards, hospitality, and other expenses associated with the event. Your help is greatly appreciated as we work to put on an event to honor not only Kas Kastner, but everyone in the Triumph community that continues to race and drive these fabulous pieces of automotive history.
