2023 Junior Nationals Funding: CCMS

Cloud City Mountain Sports and Lake County High School have four skiers who have qualified to compete in the Junior National cross-country skiing championships this March in Fairbanks, Alaska: Jace Peters, Adele Horning, Rose Horning, and Ella Bullock. These athletes qualified by competing in a series of eight races throughout Colorado this winter.

We are proud of all the hard work they put in during the summer, fall, and winter that led to their success. Please support our athletes to help reduce the $3000 per skier cost to attend.

The weeklong competition will take place at Birch Hill in Fairbanks, Alaska. They will compete in three races from March 13th to March 16th: an individual start classic race, a skate sprint, and a mass start skate race.
